It seems sometimes people spam 1 star ratings to promote their own video on the Hottest page.
Perhaps if someone votes 1 star excessively, their votes would be ignored?

Also, sometimes the hottest page is filled with videos that have 100 views and all it takes is one 5 star rating to get it to #1.
Perhaps only promote videos to the hottest page if they have 1000+ views and/or 5+ votes? This might also solve the 1 star rating spam issue.

It is very discouraging to have your videos voted down for no reason! I know the videos of my wife are not perfect, but they aren't 1 star either!
