Due to Spam and abusive comments, we have taken action to reduce these:

1. We now post screen all comments several time a day and delete all the abusive ones. For exmaple "you are pig ugly" of "he has a *****" will get deleted. However we permit criticism such as "boring" or "waste of time".

2. To stop spam we introduced a verification code. This seems to have had the added benefit of reducing abusivve comments.

I know both of us are having problems posting comments, and so we just don't. The verification seems to mess up a lot... we also don't get near as many comments as we used to... it's buggy I think is the reason.

I think seeing as how the author has the ability to screen his own comments, your time could be better spent. I use the negative comments as a guide for better filming next time, then delete them myself... so you are indirectly reducing the quality of our subsequent videos as well.

its good to see the amateur content complete with less than perfect people, but some of those scathing comments were putting people off. Big brother reference made me chuckle mark.. what a load of old crap that is!!! Am always happy to help people improve their output in any way.. good start for most is a tripod.

But I am off to have a good look at them all now lol

its a great idea, and works very well, i think offenders should have their I.P. address barred from the site. but only if they re-offend. if you get an abusive comment i.e. your ugly(as i have had) just laugh it off, the person is abviously jealous of the attention you are getting xx

HEY ....?..Whatever happened to the right of free speech? If someone wants to insult you its up to them ..let them do it..sticks and stones....I have had a few nasty comments ..LOL..but deleted them..99 out of a hundred are positive..so let the malcontents and whingers speak..and then delete them yourself..

1) The right of free speech is one that ensures the GOVERNMENT will not silence you you.
2) When you use the resources of another individual or corporation, they can, indeed, restrict what you say and do. It is THEIR resources, not yours.
3) You are perfectly free to set up your own website and make whatever comments you wish.
