this time, her heart was fine. However because of this virus & her fever she
also had breathing problems. Finally she was totally dependent on a respirator
to breathe. On Dec. 24th, her respiratory doctor told me there was nothing
else they could do for her but make her comfortable & to consider taking her
off the respirator after the holidays. This was DEVASTATING to our family for
X-Mas. On Dec 26th at about 2:00 am pacific time ( still X-Mas in Hawaii)
Angel totally rejected the respirator & started breathing on her own. The
virus was gone from her bloodstream & she had no fever. Also, she was again
fully conscious & smiled at me when I came to visit that day. She was Mercy
General Hospitals Christmas miracle. 2 months later I got to bring her home.
She had been in the hospital for 6 months.

We spent the next 9 years totally enjoying life together.

I just want to tell you all about Sexy Angel. A few items about how we met, & her personally. We met in Mar. 1968. Eddie ( Angel) was living in an apartment owned by my family. I was sent to fix a broken window on her apartment. This was a job that should have taken about 1 hour to complete. It took me 3 days to finish it. She really became Grandma to Angel's 2 *****. Enough about that. Now a little info about Angel. When Angel was a girl she caught polio & survived it. She also caught rheumatic fever & survived it. These 2 things did have an effect on her though. She had a rheumatic heart & a heart murmur. 1 of her kidneys did not develop completely. As a young Adult (before we met) she caught double pneumonia which caused 1 lung to collapse. She had to have lung surgery to fix this. During the surgery the doctors found tuberculosis in the mucus around her lungs. They were able to completely remove it. After we got together She had a cancerous mole removed from her chest. She also had to have kidney surgery to remove a cyst from her 1 good kidney. Needless to say, she was a fighter. This also gave her a different view of life then some people may have. She figured that she may as well live it to the fullest because you never know when something may happen. When Angel had our daughter in 1971 She had a few complications that effected her own health. For this reason her doctor told her that if she ever had another ***** that it could endanger her life as well as the babies. He suggested that Angel have a complete Hysterectomy, so she did about 4 months later. This later became a blessing because it allowed her to get fucked without having to worry about getting pregnant.
